About the artist:

A little something about me the artist.  As a young teen I would draw faces and animals but never had the opportunity until I retired to start really getting back to being creative. My Husband and I bought a house 2 1/2 years ago and I needed to fill the walls so I went and bought canvas, brushes and paint and started to paint what I wanted for my walls and haven’t stopped since. Acrylic was my paint of choice and I love it.

I am a member of Gallery at the park, Cyber Art 509, Watercolor Society, 509 Urban Sketchers and will also be the Administrator for Urban Sketchers after the first of the year. I am a self- taught realist artist and continue to learn as I go. I have recently learned acrylic pouring and have got a few pieces done with a little bit of a realist spin to them. It is a blessing to get to do what I love.
