About the artist:

I grew up surrounded by my grandmother's gardens in New England.  Those early childhood memories have had a tremendous influence on my recent water color work as I love to capture those fleeting moments of sunshine and glory in the nod of a flower or the vista of a landscape. In New York I studied rembrantic style painting which tends to show up in my oil and acrylic work. I studied Fine Arts at Columbia Basin College, & Evangel University.  In my more recent  years I have been teaching drawing to children and adults.  Currently I am getting acquainted with my local art community and hoping to encourage others to explore their own creativity. I am studying and exploring the world of "Plein Air" painting which is my latest passion.
