About the artist:

Over the years I’ve expressed my creativity through ceramics, quilting and other crafts. I had always admired watercolor paintings and have had many relatives who were watercolor artists. Curiosity spurred me to take a beginning watercolor class several years ago and I have been hooked ever since. I  continue to take watercolor workshops and have had some great teachers. Painting with this medium is challenging and also fulfilling. There is no other medium quite like watercolor. My favorite subject is landscape, but I also do still life and portraits.
