About the artist:

I’m a late bloomer with painting. My adventure began with a 2012 house decorating project that I tackled at my husband's encouragement, a 4'x5' acrylic. Afterward, I began very loosely mixing the leftover acrylics for use as watercolors.  Later I began working more with watercolor pencils and recently started using Maimeri Blu watercolors from tubes.

I’ve painted a fairly wide variety of subjects, just to see if I can, and to enjoy and explore what happens with paint, paper, and water.  For the moment, my primary focus is on cats. I enjoy painting's quiet rewards: visible improvement, achieving a desired end product, adding beauty to life, and blessing others with creative gifts of the imagination that flow out of the person God created me to be.
