Please read our questions and answers page first. If you are interested in membership, fill out the following membership form. Dues are $20 a year. The dues should be made payable to Cyber Art 509 and mailed to Cyber Art 509, P. O. Box 6412, Kennewick WA. 99336. Once we receive your dues, we will acknowledge that and tell you that you can start sending us photos of your work via email to put on the website (if that’s what you want to do). We’d also love a photo of you. Some members like to give details of each piece like title and price or even measurements but it’s not mandatory.
As a member, you can either just advertise your art work on the site or you can respond to calls for art. Or you can do both. The only method for hanging we permit are sturdy wires (gallery style) - - no pronged hangers that often come with frames.
Here's the form. If you have questions, either email us at [email protected] or use the contact page.
Once you’re a member, you will be added to our group email list and our Exhibit Committe Chairman will notify you via email of the date and place of the next call for art. Our current venues like to keep our work up for 60 or 90 days . You are expected to bring the email-suggested number of pieces to the hanging and to help hang. An exception to this is Tucannon Winery where one of our curators will hang your work. Once artists show up for a hanging, a venue leader will direct the hanging. Artists are also expected to return on the take down day to remove their art unless they arrange with another artist to do it for them. This is important as we do not have the room to take any art work homewith us. Artists should not remove their work during the hanging period without contacting the venue leader so that a replacement piece can be put up. This is also for the protection of the artist’s work. No one unknown to the business should be going in and taking down artwork. Sometimes, we can contact the business to tell them that a certain artist is coming in. Usually the reason for this is the artist has sold the piece and needs to take it down before the hanging time is up.
I would like to become a member of Cyber Art 509. After I submit this form, I will send my dues as set forth above made payable to Cyber Art 509 and mailed to Cyber Art 509, P. O. Box 6412, Kennewick WA 99336.
If I plan to respond to calls for art, I agree to be at the business at the designated time to hang (or deliver to a venue leader if directed) and later, when notified, to pick up my art work from the business (or make arrangements with another member to do it for me). I will bring a card for each art piece with my contact information on it (Name of piece, medium, price (except for the Library - no prices) and your contact info). I will not remove my piece from the show until the day the show comes down unless arrangements have been made.
