I took my love of being outside working in my flowerbeds and taking pictures into my own little hobby.  I discovered I had an eye for photography shortly after I started taking pictures of my flowers that I was growing. As I got better I started to expand what I took pictures of. About two years ago I created Backyard Blossoms and More to show my photography. I am currently working on a website and finding it is not as easy as it looks to create one.

I have had a showing at You and I Framing on Kennewick Ave, did a silent auction for the Cancer Center shortly after, and I did another silent auction at the Branding Iron to help raise money for a very dear friend of mine.

I have become more and more interested in getting my photography out to the public. I do not do a lot of photo shopping to my photos as I believe nature is beautiful as is. I will do some effects such as blurring of edges, for the most part my photos are raw and true. I do enjoy macro photography especially with flowers.

You can see some of my framed work at https://www.facebook.com/backyardblossomsandmore and I have started to build galleries at http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/pam-pence.html
