About the artist:

 I have done painting and other art work since as far back as I can remember.  I have always been enamored with bold color and shapes that incorporate a sense of movement.  I particularly love painting in oils depicting faces and figures.  This solidified while working with Russian-American artist  Wassily Somer who was a protogee of Kandinsky.  I like to tell a story by my paintings.  Lately I have been experimenting with abstracts and using oil pastels along with my oil painting.
