About the Artist:

I am an oil and watercolor painter, photographer and a computer graphic artist. I spent 20 years painting architectural renderings of peoples’ homes and landmark buildings in Santa Fe, New Mexico, San Antonio and Houston, Texas. Among the landmark paintings are the original LaFonda Restaurant, the Josephine Street Restaurant, the Historic Mobil Gasoline Station on Austin Highway, Earl Abel’s Restaurant and of course the “Olmos Pharmacy” a very old drug store that had a huge following (which is also in print and for sale).

Although I worked in oil and acrylic while in college, I didn’t pick it up again until 2005. After realizing I wanted more artistic freedom, I broke away from watercolors and pressed hard into other mediums and genres. I finally moved into Abstract and Surreal styles.

My work has been featured in the Aspen Museum of Art in Aspen, Colorado and various galleries and homes in and around the world.
I’ve entered many competitions and among them: The Artist Magazine, The Brooklyn Project and Landfill Art Project. I’ve won the “People’s Choice Award” in the “Inspirer’s on Fire” 2010 competition, and won a contributors award #7 in the San Antonio Art League and Museums annual competition.
