About the artist:
I love the beauty in nature and enjoy creating beauty in whatever form. I knit, sew, needlepoint, grow things, color (yes - with crayons!), and will spend hours going through rocks wherever I find them looking for special treasures. In 2008 I took a class to learn how to wire wrap stones and by the end of the two hours, I was hooked. My rock collection now has another purpose - to become
treasures for others.
My skills are constantly evolving as I learn new methods and incorporate them into my designs. I love the look of chain maille and am excited to experiment with this age-old art. Last fall I met a very skilled silversmith who gave me pointers on pounding wire so you can expect to see his influence in the near future.
My goal is to take the elements God has provided and turn them into simple, beautiful, affordable jewelry. Please visit my web site to see more photos of the pieces created so far.
